About the Play
The Trojan Women Project looks at American women through the lens of Euripides's The Trojan Women. This intersectional look at American women tries to discover why being women isn't enough to unite us and whether or not we are the losers in the American Dream.

Rachel Hynes (Devisor-Playwright)
Rachel Hynes is a devisor-playwright, whose original works explore the themes of grief and healing. She is a DCCAH Artist Fellow, a winner of the Larry Neal Award for Dramatic Writing. She is the former Co-Artistic Director of experimental theatre group, Helsinki Syndrome, creative lead of Collective Eleven and a proud member of playwright's collective, The Welders.
