Original Adaptation by Charlie Marie McGrath from William Shakespeare
About the Play
Pointless Theatre presents our own interpretation of Shakespeare's romance Cymbeline. Adapted and directed by local artist Charlie Marie McGrath, Princess Imogen explores her expectations when the fairy tale narrative doesn't go according to plan. In Imogen, Pointless reimagines Shakespeare's original adventure through stylized movement and shadow puppetry. Get ready for a mash-up of the Bards' most classic plot twists - mis-identity, an estranged royal family, fantastical forests, and even a wicked stepmother, now intertwined with Pointless' unique use of puppetry, music, and dance.
