After being held hostage in Iraq for eighteen months, he has been released by his captors. But his colleague is beginning to suspect that Michael isn't free yet. An explosive television interview puts their friendship to the test. Secrets, lies, and betrayal haunt both men. E. M. Lewis is an award-winning playwright and librettist. Her work has been produced around the world and is published by Samuel French. Awards include a Hodder Fellowship from Princeton University, the Steinberg Award and Primus Prize from the American Theater Critics Association, and the Ted Schmitt Award for Outstanding Writing of a World Premiere Play from the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle. Plays include Song of Extinction, Magellanica, The Gun Show, Infinite Black Suitcase, True Story, Heads, and The Study.
